PowerHouse was established in 1998 in Kramfors, Sweden, as a centre for development and a regional resource for the digital adventure and discovery industry in the region. Today PowerHouse is a unit of the adult education department, part of the municipal growth department.
The adult education department tries to be a flexible organization that strives to meet the different needs of education. The education programs are diverse in terms of both area and shape and offer a wide range of advanced vocational and university courses such as Cabinet maker, Blacksmith, Design engineer, Construction production manager.
PowerHouse works also with international projects and promoting creative collaboration. One of its exciting tasks is finding interaction and fusion between new development areas, education and industry.
